Berton Brown hails from Flint. “Flintstones” are, by nature, competitive and entrepreneurial. Berton fits the bill on both counts. He was staffer for two of his hometown legislators before becoming a lobbyist. Berton went on to form Michigan’s largest African American-owned government and business development consulting firm, Brown Consulting Group.
